“Super Natural Love Song”

// October 9th, 2009 // Lyrics and Details

Produced by Ronin Williams originally for his E.P. entitled “The Warm Up,” this song features tb and vocalist Leah Smith.  We borrowed this one for the Eternal Life Music album and KinDeezil dropped John 3:16 as a finishing touch on the end.  “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Lyrics:

Ronin:

(“Leah Smith … tb, Todd Barnes!”)

Listen. Let’s revisit the best songs I ever heard

Life Changing.  They touch your soul with the words

Songs movin’ like it’s written up in all verbs

I could be at home and still get lost in the words

I remember when my mom put me on to it (What is this?!)

Foolish.  Couldn’t understand the music

Used to listenin’ to what I’m used to (back then)

that BBD, Heavy D (that was then)

Long as the beat tight it’s cool to me

What I know about a love song, they schooled me

Told me the signs of great music makers

Take away the melody then read it off the paper

(Broke it down) That’s exactly what my peeps did

Took time out to teach the kid.  Classic love song

of someone who sacrificed His kid

So all other people out there can live

That’s deep (That’s Christ!)

Hook :

He’s written a supernatural love song through His Son

(What’s His name?)

tb:

Oh yeah, I listen to them love songs.  They be makin’ me bug –

I hear a lot of folk lookin’ for Agape love –

And it’s sad though, ’cause they don’t even know what it is –

Resultin’ in a broken heart, and a fatherless kid (4)

What happened?  Two people fell in love then they fell out –

Hindsight 20/20 should’ve never went out –

Both knew what they wanted, but neither could deliver –

Now they on a Justin Timberlake, Crying me a river (8)

Man listen, Truth not philosophy –

We put man in positions where God should be –

Though I could think of folk who really did a lot for me –

Christ was crucified high, bled and died for me (12)

So I could be with Him eternally. That’s “endless love”! –

“Always and Forever” come and get this love –

And He’s faithful; I highly recommend this love –

When He sent His Son down, God sent His Love (16)

It’s supernatural!
