Released on the Eternal Life Music album, we owe credit on this one to Philly group called D.T.C. (Dedicated to Christ).  They were working on a compilation/mixtape and asked for a song regarding what believers should do once they’ve accepted Christ.  So this song is a exhortation to really seek to persevere and be steadfast in living  for God, and to ”grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”  2nd Peter 3:18.  “Do not attempt to adjust your dial…”

“Ready To Go”

One of our favorites.  The music for this song was originally produced by Ronin Williams, then co-produced/arranged by KinDeezil for the Eternal Life Music album.  It features vocalist Nicole Danielle, and was co-written by Nicole along with tb.  This one is about resting in the blessed assurance and expectation that to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD (2 Corinthians 5:8), and actually eagerly looking forward to that glorious day.  Passage reading by KinDeezil.

“It’s Goin’ Down!!!”

This was actually the first song Eternal Life Music ever put together.  It centers on the theme that everybody needs Jesus because “it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27) and nobody should dare to face that judgment without the Holy One (and the only one) who can mediate between man and God.

“Ready for War” (KinDeezil Remix)

Sort of a carry-over to the Honest Effort, E.P. from tb’s debut E.P.  The music on the original was done by the Odd Couple, but Ken remixed it and sped up the tempo (without Todd even being there!).  The song is fairly testimonial.  It reminds us that our souls have an enemy, and encourages us to be ready for the war at all times.
